As fans are gearing up for the highly anticipated second season of Westworld, you’d think that its main stars would be hot property right now.

However, despite it being one of the most popular and most talked about shows last year, not all of the actors are as in demand as you would think. At least, according to Thandie Newton anyway…

Despite openly admitting to being sexually assaulted by a casting director when she was younger, Thandie Newton was reportedly not welcome to be a public face of the Time’s Up movement – something which she described as “very painful”.

“I wasn’t hot enough,” she told The Daily Telegraph about not being invited to join the Time’s Up movement.

“I wasn’t mainstream enough and I wasn’t going to be at the Oscars this year, even though I am having a renaissance in my career.”

Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, and Shonda Rhimes are some of the famous faces who have publically got behind the Time’s Up movement to try and put an end to sexual misconduct in the industry once and for all.

Let’s hope the fact that Time’s Up has raised over $20Million will be a bit of a silver lining for Thandie Newton.

As will the fact that she too will be getting the same pay as male co-stars Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris for Westworld season 3!
