Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is reportedly back home and in “good spirits” after being “seriously ill” at a Detroit hospice at the beginning of the week.

It’s no secret that the 76-year-old singer’s health has gone downhill lately, as she was forced to cancel her concerts on doctors’ orders earlier this year.

“Aretha Franklin has been the Matriarch of the Franklin family since the passing of all of her siblings,” Aretha’s publicist, Gwendolyn Quinn, told People.

“The love she has for her family is above reproach and was evident in the warm smiles she was able to share with her nephew during his very brief visit two weeks ago.

“She is seriously ill and surrounded by family members who appreciate the outpouring of love and support they have received.”

The support Ms. Franklin has received from friend, family, and A-listers has been great.

Stevie Wonder, Jesse Jackson, and even ex-husband Glynn Turman have reportedly visited the legendary singer, while the likes of Mariah Carey and Bill Clinton are among the famous faces showing their love and support on social media.

Nephew Tim Franklin reportedly told the press that Aretha Franklin is now in good spirits thanks to all the support…

“We believe she’ll pull through it, she believes she’ll pull through it, and that’s the important thing,” Tim Franklin said.

“She’s alert, laughing, teasing, able to recognize people.

“She’s watching TV, so god forbid she sees all of this ‘Aretha’s dead,’ so I don’t want to dampen her spirits on that.”

We too hope that the 18-time Grammy winner will pull through.

Feel better soon, Aretha Franklin!
