Beyoncé and Jay Z are adding yet another gong to their enviable awards cabinet, as they will be receiving an accolade at the GLAAD Awards later this month.

They will be receiving the coveted Vanguard Award at the GLAAD ceremony in Los Angeles, for all they have done for the LGBTQ community.

“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are global icons and passionate defenders of human rights and acceptance for all people,” GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement.

“When Beyoncé and Jay-Z speak, the world becomes inspired and when it comes to LGBTQ people, their voices of acceptance have been heard loud and clear.

“We could not be prouder to stand with them to send a message of love during the biggest LGBTQ event in the world and to honor their work to bend the arc of justice forward for LGBTQ people, people of color, and marginalized communities everywhere.”

We couldn’t agree more!

The power couple will be receiving their award at the Los Angeles ceremony on March 24.

Another ceremony will take place in New York on May 4, where Madonna is due to receive the equally impressive Advocate for Change Award.

We’re glad to see that the world’s biggest stars are using their fame, fortune, and influence for good!
