Are Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green separating?

If we are to believe the rumors that have been doing the rounds these past few days, it looks like Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green might be headed for divorce.

The first clue is that the 34-year-old actress has been spending a lot of time with Machine Gun Kelly, her 30-year-old Midnight In The Switchgrass co-star, amid the rumors that she and her 46-year-old husband are isolating separately during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Additionally, Brian Austin Green posted a very cryptic – but also quite easy to crack – social media status about feeling “smothered”. And on Megan Fox’s 34th birthday, no less…

“Eventually butterflies get bored sitting on a flower for too long,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 star wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of a butterfly sitting on a flower.

“They start feeling smothered. It’s a great big world and they want to experience it.”

Fans believe the butterfly is significant as Megan Fox famously has a tattoo on her shoulder that reads, “we will all laugh at gilded butterflies”.

But is the smothered butterfly Brian, or Megan? No one knows for sure…

To add to the separation rumors, both Brian and Megan have been spotted without their wedding rings on several occasions over the past few months.

Could this be just another bump in the road for the on/off couple? After all, breaking up and getting back together is something they do quite often…

They started dating way back in 2004, and called off their engagement in 2009, only to get back together and tie the knot one year later.

And back in 2015, after being married for five years, Megan Fox filed for divorce, only to call it off one year later. They also welcomed their third child amidst all the confusing divorce proceedings.

Speaking of children, the couple are parents to 7-year-old Noah Shannon, 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom, and 3-year-old Journey River.

Will history repeat itself, or will these two actually get divorced for good this time?
