Whether you’re team Big or team Aiden, there’s no denying that Chris Noth has become a knight in shining armor for Carrie Bradshaw actress, Sarah Jessica Parker!

The Mr. Big actor instantly came to SJP’s defense when asked about the alleged ongoing feud between her and Samantha Jones actress, Kim Cattrall, who is the only original member of the fab foursome to not return for the Sex and the City spin-off, And Just Like That…

When asked what he thought about why Kim Cattrall wasn’t returning for the highly anticipated spin-off, the 67-year-old actor had some very interesting things to say…

“I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions,” he told The Guardian.

“I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Cattrall’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close,” he said, we assume in reference to some less-than-complimentary things Kim Cattrall has said about her former co-star in the press.

“I liked [Cattrall], I thought she was marvelous in the show and some people move on for their own reasons. I don’t know what hers were.

“I just wish that whole thing had never happened because it was sad and uncomfortable.”

While we don’t know everything that went on between the two actresses, they did have a very public falling out back in 2018 after the death of Kim Cattrall’s brother.

After SJP offered Kim condolences, Kim responded with an image on Instagram reading, “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker.”

In the caption for the picture, Kim C wrote: “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone? Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.”

“Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend,” she added.

“So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

In an interview with her friend and talk show host Andy Cohen, SJP said that she was “heartbroken” over Kim Cattrall’s comments, adding, “I found it very upsetting cause that’s not the way I recall our experience.”

We would give anything to have these two ladies work out their differences!

And Just Like That…  premieres on HBO Max on Thursday, December 9th. You know where to find us!
