Don’t expect Jennifer Lawrence to gush about her new baby to the press, or even to share pictures on her social media following the birth!

The 31-year-old Oscar-winning actress – who is currently pregnant with her and husband Cooke Maroney‘s first child – has very candidly revealed that she will be doing everything in her power to protect her baby’s privacy. And that, unfortunately for fans who might want to take a peek at the new baby, means keeping them OUT of the public eye!

In an interview with Vanity Fair for its December issue, the Hunger Games actress said that she was “grateful and excited” to soon be welcoming her baby into the world, but doesn’t want to talk about it with the media!

“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’, J-Law said in her interview.

“But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.

“I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

The actress – who is currently promoting her latest movie, Don’t Look Up, which is out on December 24 – also told the magazine that she was nervous about talking about the last few years of her life, as she wants to maintain as much privacy as possible.

“And to come back now, when I have all of these new accessories added to my life that I obviously want to protect,” she added, in reference to her baby bump.

“I’m nervous for you. I’m nervous for me. I’m nervous for the readers!”

We totally understand why J-Law wants to keep her baby out of the public eye – she wouldn’t be the first A-lister to make that decision, and she won’t be the last!
