Demi Lovato has a few things to say regarding those allegedly fake Tweets from her fiancé, Max Ehrich…

So what Tweets are we referring to?

According to numerous reports, some Tweets have allegedly resurfaced from the 29-year-old Young and the Restless star, where he appears to compare his fiancée with Selena Gomez… and Selena Gomez seemed to be the clear winner!

(Demi and Selena have been on/off friends for years, and are currently no longer on speaking terms. They do, however, appear to be civil towards one another; but to quote Demi Lovato herself, it’s “between them” and no one else.)

“Hahaha Selena Gomez and Demi are cute together [sic] but boy if you think Demi is prettier … you’re WRONG!” read one of Max’s alleged Tweets from 2010.

He also allegedly responded with a heart eyes emoji when another Twitter user tagged him in a picture of Selena Gomez with the caption, “your wife”.

Demi Lovato was quick to jump to her fiancé’s defense, and insisted that she believes the Tweets were doctored in order to cause a stir in her relationship, and also to rock the boat even further with Selena Gomez…

“It’s really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. If women have conflict that’s between them NOT YOU,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Secondly, don’t y’all have more important shit to write about in 2020??? I challenge any tabloid that dares to type my name to mention Breonna Taylor and the fact that her murderers still haven’t been arrested. WRITE ABOUT THAT.

“But then I stop and think…it’s hella rude but damn.. I get it. And I don’t wanna look at what’s really happening in the world either but WE HAVE TO. Yes, it’s easier to tear apart celebrities and their relationships because 2020 sucks and scares the shit out of us all but it’s only gonna stay terrifying until we address it all and WORK ON SOLUTIONS TOGETHER.”

Even though she didn’t mention Selena Gomez by name, Demi continued to insist that the images were “doctored”, and urged people to focus on things that “actually matters” as opposed to her relationship…

“So while on one hand I understand and have compassion for those who are so horrified at the reality of 2020 that they gotta distract themselves with doctored images in order to not focus on how bad these times are, but on the other hand, if you aren’t 13 years old trying to grasp the reality of right now, put on your adult underpants and write about what actually matters. Please.”

Do you believe that the pictures of Max’s alleged Tweets were doctored?
