Some of the biggest, most powerful and most soulful voices in the world are coming together to pay tribute to the original true Queen of Soul.

Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, and Ariana Grande are among the big names confirmed to be performing at the Aretha Franklin memorial, in what we can only imagine will be an incredibly moving tribute to the late singer.

“I have no words, so I will let the Queen say it,” Jennifer Hudson wrote on Instagram, alongside a video herself listening to Aretha Franklin’s recording of Let It Be.

“But I will Say while teaching me about your life, u taught me so much about life and schooled me in mine. I will never forget those teachings.”

Faith Hill also had some powerful words to share…

“GLORY, GLORY, GLORY to the ALMIGHTY!!! The choir of angels now have the greatest voice of all time to lead, praise and join in to sing before Jesus,” she wrote on Instagram after hearing the news that Aretha Franklin had passed.

“I wanted to share this photo because it shows just how soulful Aretha was without uttering a word. To say I was humbled to be in her presence would be an understatement.”

The memorial will take place on Friday, August 31 at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.

And another memorial concert is also in the works too…

According to reports, the event is called ‘Clive Davis Presents: A Tribute to Aretha Franklin’ and it will be held November 14 at Madison Square Garden.

The performers have yet to be revealed, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
