It’s a sad day for fashion, as Kim Kardashian has revealed that all DASH stores will be closing!

Kim and sisters Kourtney and Khloe opened their first DASH clothing store in Calabasas way back in 2006, with many more boutiques opening shortly after.

We’ve seen the stores featured many times on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and their other spin-off shows – including its very own Dash Dolls show which followed the lives of the DASH employees! – so we’re definitely going to miss them.

So why have the girls decided to close their stores?

“After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our DASH store,” Kim said on her official app.

“We opened our first store as a family in 2006 and, since then, we have made so many lifelong memories. From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our Dash Dolls spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives.”

She then added that the shift in their schedules and priorities over the years has meant that they couldn’t dedicate the time they needed to DASH. Which makes sense, as all three ladies have now become mothers to beautiful babies who will naturally take up most of their free time…

“We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years, we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on,” Kim continued.

“We love our DASH Dolls and are so grateful for the amazing memories. And we have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone!”

It’s the end of an era, but we have a feeling that this won’t be the last Kardashian family fashion venture. Watch this space…
