Huge congratulations to Lindsay Lohan, as she has just revealed that she is officially engaged!

The 35-year-old Mean Girls star took to Instagram to announce that she is engaged to boyfriend Bader Shammas after two years of dating – and we couldn’t be happier for them!

“My love. My life. My family. My future. #love”, Li-Lo wrote on Instagram, finished off with a diamond ring emoji naturally, alongside a carousel of images of herself and her now fiancé.

Lindsay Lohan gave us exactly what we wanted – i.e., a good look at the stunning engagement ring – as it was visible in every single one of the black and white and color pictures. Ps: it looks great in black and white AND color images! And she looks great too – we don’t think we’ve ever seen her this happy!

Lindsay’s ex-girlfriend, Courtney Semel, commented on her Insta post with eight red heart emojis and the words, “the best”, while reality TV star Juliet Angus made us think that the proposal happened quite a while ago, writing: “Yay!! 💍 I was wondering when everyone was going to hear the news! I’m so happy for you both”, followed by two red heart emojis. “the best parts of life start now. Love you xx,” she continued.

So what do we know about Lindsay’s fiancé? According to reports, Bader Shammas is Assistant Vice President at banking firm Credit Suisse in Dubai, where Lindsay Lohan is currently living.

We don’t know much about their relationship either as they have kept it out of the public eye – probably for the best – although a source recently told British tabloid, The Sun: “Lindsay’s relationship with Bader is going strong. She has been with him for about two years now.”

“He is a legitimate guy. He’s not an actor, he’s not in the entertainment industry, he manages funds for high net worth people at Credit Suisse,” the source continued, before adding that they definitely see the couple tying the knot “at some point” in the future.

“They’ll get married at some point,” the source added. “It’s just a matter of time.”

The source was right! Congratulations again to Lindsay and Bader!
