Mariah Carey is a busy lady!

The self-confessed diva has just revealed that she will be joining The Voice for Season 15 – and you’re not going to want to miss a single second of it!

Mariah Carey is no stranger to the judging panel, having served as a judge on American Idol back in 2013, but she won’t actually be sitting on The Voice’s famous swivel chairs.

Instead, she will be serving as an adviser, giving the 32 hopefuls top tips on how to achieve those perfect harmonies and get the most out of their voices.

But don’t let her new advisor gig fool you into thinking she is just a behind-the-scenes lady, as sources have revealed that show bosses are using this season as a test run, as they hope to secure MC as a coach in the future…

“Mariah’s upcoming time with The Voice is just the calm before the storm. She is being groomed to be a future coach on the show and she can’t wait to do it,” a source told Hollywood Life.

“She wants to help out in any way she can and make somebody actually become a future superstar. She is looking to join the show as a coach in 2019 or 2020.

“She just has to get the right schedule where she isn’t touring or in a residency in Vegas.”

How exciting! We can’t wait to see how Mimi deals with current coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Hudson.

Mariah’s The Voice debut will be on October 29. We can’t wait!
