Naya Rivera’s ex-husband – and the father to her 5-year-old son, Josey Dorsey – has finally addressed the rumors that he is in a romantic relationship with the late Glee star’s sister, following the reports that they had moved in together…

According to several reports, Ryan Dorsey and Nickayla Rivera have moved in together to raise Ryan and Naya Rivera’s son, Josey Dorsey, following her tragic death in July.

The 37-year-old actor took to social media to slam the “nonsense” reports that he and his former sister-in-law are in a relationship, confirming that he simply asked his son’s aunt to move in with them as “she’s the closest thing he has to a mom”…

“I can’t believe that this is real life and I’m about to address any of this nonsense,” he said in an emotional video which he shared on Instagram.

“It’s truly sad that this is the world that we live in where people were raised to think it’s OK to spew hatred, in general, especially when they make statements about a family who are dealing with a tragedy that I hope is so unimaginable that you or anyone that is close to you ever has to go through,” he continued, before adding that his son was the one who requested that this aunt – who he adorably calls Titi – live with them permanently…

“Josey asks me if Titi can live with us. ‘I want Titi to live with us forever,’ because she’s now the closest thing he has to a mom.

“You’re going to need all the help you can get as a single parent trying to build your career and navigate this disaster with your child.

“And to have to let him get what he wants, what he asks for, and what he needs right now, which is his family. Even though you know it’s temporary and it’s not forever. It’s a temporary situation.

“After all that he’s had to go through how could you deny him that? Because of what? What some strangers might think or say, or spew some hatred based on some ill-advised, ill-logical, misinformed tabloid?”

Ryan Dorsey continued to praise Naya’s 26-year-old sister, who he admitted has “put her life on hold” to help raise Josey…

“To have a young woman who is his blood, his Titi, who is willing to put her life on hold and sacrifice things, uproot her situation for the betterment of your child,” he continued.

“So when you put your child to bed you don’t always have to be alone with your thoughts and you don’t have to be sad any day or night wondering when does it get better. At least you have someone there with you to talk to or just sit in silence and be sad with. You don’t have to deal with being completely alone.”

Nickayla also addressed the situation on her own social media, asking for compassion and no judgment…

“In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends & family,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Showing up for my nephew even though I can’t show up for myself. I’m not concerned with the ways things look because no one can see each agonising moment we all endure [sic].

“What matters most I’ve learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others and never take a moment for granted. I hope you all can do the same.”

We’re glad that everything has been cleared up.
