The news we have been waiting over five months for is finally here…
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is officially pregnant – as confirmed by Kensington Palace this morning.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
We also respect how Meghan and Prince Harry waited after Princess Eugenie’s wedding to make the announcement, so as not to overshadow the Princess and her big day.
According to reports, Meghan Markle has recently had her twelve-week scan, and she is feeling well…
“Meghan is thought to be around 12 weeks pregnant, and the couple shared their news with family at the royal wedding on Friday,” said royal commentator Emily Nash.
“The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are “delighted for the couple”.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially landed in Sydney last night as part of their 16-day royal tour to Australia, New Zealand, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Fiji.
We have a feeling that the new royal baby is going to be a hot topic of conversation throughout their tour!
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their incredibly exciting news!
