It’s almost been two months since the Royal Wedding, but that doesn’t mean we are any closer to forgetting about it.

Far from being old news, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s dream wedding is still a hot topic of conversation – especially for a certain Ms. Oprah Winfrey…

The chat show host made headlines last month when she finally revealed the ‘gifts’ she gave to Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland. Click here to refresh your memories.

And today, Ms. Winfrey has opened up about just how significant the wedding was for her, and how privileged she felt to be part of history.

“I was unprepared for the depth of emotion I felt stepping onto the grounds of Windsor Castle. It literally took my breath away,” she wrote in the August issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.

“I exclaimed out loud to no-one in particular: ‘Whoa! This right here is a whole ‘nother level!’

“And I thought immediately of the history, the legacy, the astounding moment Meghan Markle was stepping into. And what it would take to be prepared for such a moment.

“The life she was leaving behind and the new world to which she was rising—all part of a destiny she helped design.”

She essentially summarised how we were all feeling about the iconic day, and how proud we were to see a black American actress join the British Royal Family. Plus, just how perfect are Harry and Meghan together?

“We all want to feel as radiant, joyful, and alive as Meghan looked on her way down the aisle to meet Harry,” Oprah continued.

“Both of them were glowing with happiness.”

And let’s not forget that Oprah almost had a wardrobe malfunction. Luckily, Stella McCartney and her team (the same designer and team behind the bride’s second dress, may we add) saved the day…

“Thank you @stellamccartney ! Realized Friday morning the beige dress I was planning to wear to Royal ceremony would photograph too “white” for a wedding,” Oprah Tweeted at the time.

“Her team did this overnite. Hat is vintage @philiptreacy been in my closet since 2005 with new feathers. OMG was this an extraordinary day! #Harry&Meghan #RoyalWedding #Lovedeveryminute”

Can Oprah please be invited to (and comment on) every big event? Pretty please?
