Pamela Anderson’s close friends and family fear that the new Hulu series, Pam & Tommy, will be traumatizing for her, and are confident that she will never, and should never, see it!

Although Pamela – who recently filed for divorce from her fifth husband, Dan Hayhurst – hasn’t publicly addressed her feelings towards the eight-part limited series starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, which premiered on Hulu on Wednesday, February 2, sources close to the actress have said that she never will.

Nor will she ever watch it, as she will likely see it was a “violation”…

“Pam will never watch the Pam & Tommy Hulu series,” a source told E! News.

“The burglary was a living nightmare. This burglary is the only thing in her life she would erase from her life. It haunts her to this day,” the source continued, referencing the burglary which resulted in her and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape being stolen and then released for the public to see.

“It was a violation having this tape taken. This was a very traumatic time in her life. And it’s shocking that they are recreating it.”

A separate source also added that they felt the show was “re-exploiting” the former Baywatch star…

“There’s a sense that the show is re-exploiting Pamela,” an insider told People, before going into detail about how the burglary and release of the sex tape was “traumatizing” for her…

“After the tape was made public, it was a very traumatizing situation and it’s unfair that she is being re-subjected to this trauma, like re-opening a wound.

“Pamela deserves a level of respect. She’s a human being and a mom. There’s a sense of hypocrisy about it.

“It’s her life and she should have the decision [as to] whether it’s turned into a commodity for public consumption.”
