Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister Samantha Grant – who recently started going by Samantha Markle – has slammed George Clooney for coming to Meghan’s defense.

 “They’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified,” George Clooney told reporters.

“She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and it’s history repeating itself. We’ve seen how that ends.”

Obviously, Samantha Markle was not there for his comments, and took to social media to have her say…

“Hey Looney Clooney! Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without full facts,” she wrote on Twitter.

“I doubt #GeorgeClooney would ghost his mother for no legitimate reason. Be quiet Georgie.”

Ouch!

George Clooney has yet to respond to these Tweets, but we don’t think that it will be top of his list of priorities.

During his interview, he also referenced whether he and wife Amal Clooney will be godparents to Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby, and told reporters that they may be a bit too busy to take on the responsibility…

“I’m the father of twins, I have enough s–t to deal with – literally,” he said.

Either way, we doubt George Clooney is going to lose any sleep over Samantha Grant/Markle’s comments!
