Kylie Jenner seems to have started a trend as far as going to great lengths to hide a pregnancy is concerned.

But unlike Kylie, after months of speculation, Cardi B realized she couldn’t hide her growing bump anymore, and finally confirmed her pregnancy to the world. And on SNL, of all places!

This will be Cardi B’s first child with fiancé Offset, who is a father to three other children from previous relationships.

As soon as she revealed her bump after her SNL performance, fans and haters alike took to social media to share their thoughts. And according to Cardi B, it’s the haters that supposedly influenced her decision to keep her good news to herself for as long as possible…

“This is why I did not wanted to say nothing,” the 25-year-old wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Stories post.

“People be so thirsty to scrutinize and try to destroy something that it suppose to be a blessing.”

Haters aside, Cardi B seemed to receive huge support from fans and famous friends alike – including Rihanna, who she personally thanked!

“The love I’m receiving is overwhelming! I can’t thank you enough for always finding the time to share your support!! Thank you a million times @badgalriri (sic),” she wrote in response to Rihanna’s congratulatory message.

We’re glad the cat is finally out the bag – congratulations to the soon-to-be mama and her fiancé!
