Not all celebrity relationships end up in an engagement!

Tiffany Haddish and Common have sadly called their relationship quits after dating for just over a year! The pair went public in August 2020, after first meeting back in 2019 on the set of The Kitchen.

There are reportedly no hard feelings between the now exes though, as reports are claiming that the pair simply didn’t have time to commit to the relationship. We hate it when that happens!

“They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” an insider reportedly told People.

The 41-year-old comedian and Girls Trip star first went public with her relationship with the 49-year-old rapper and actor back in August last year. While appearing on Steve-O’s podcast Wild Ride, she said it was “the best relationship I’ve ever been in.”

“Knock on wood! I’ve lost 20 pounds since I’ve been in this relationship,” she added at the time.

“I feel more confident in me and it’s not him that’s doing it. I’m just way happier and it’s like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him.”

The love went both ways, as Common also couldn’t help but gush about his then-girlfriend. “We’re doing wonderful. She’s a really incredible human being, and the more I get to know her, I just see how dynamic she is as a person,” he said on The Karen Hunter Show back in November 2020.

“How intelligent, how selfless she is, how she stands up in Hollywood for black women. I’m learning. You know what I mean?”

We definitely know what he means, and we’re very disappointed that they couldn’t make their seemingly perfect relationship work. Who knows, they may become one of those on-again/off-again couples, and they could get back together just in time for the holidays! Here’s hoping!
