Tom Hanks promised to keep fans updated as far as his and wife Rita Wilson’s Coronavirus symptoms were concerned.

And true to his word, the actor has taken to social media to tell the world that they both “feel better”, since announcing that they had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month…

“Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better,” the 63-year-old actor wrote on Twitter.

He also reiterated how important social distancing and self-isolating is, and urged everyone to “take care of each other” during the pandemic…

“Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone – You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no?

“Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts…this, too, shall pass.

“We can figure this out. Hanx.”

The couple are currently isolating in Australia, where Tom Hanks flew to work on the pre-production of a movie about Elvis Presley.

As with most movies and TV shows, filming and production has currently halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We’re glad to hear that Tom and Rita are doing better!
