Ariana Grande left quarantine to join a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles at the weekend.

The 26-year-old singer, along with her boyfriend Dalton Gomez, joined the likes of Halsey, Tessa Thompson, and Timothée Chalamet, among others, to demand justice for the killing of George Floyd.

Ariana was spotted sporting a protective mask and an oversized yellow and black shirt, and carried a sign that read, “Black Lives Matter,” during the protest. She also took to social media to share resources for protesters and supporters…

“Stay active, stay energized, keep sharing, keep learning,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Sending strength and if you are protesting today please be safe.”

Ariana also took to Twitter to give the protest some more media coverage, as she felt that it wasn’t getting the attention it deserved…

“Hours and miles of peaceful protesting yesterday that got little to no coverage. All throughout Beverly Hills and West Hollywood,” she wrote on Twitter, alongside her own pictures of the protest.

“We chanted, people beeped and cheered along. We were passionate, we were loud, we were loving. Cover this too please.”

Halsey also tweeted about the protest, telling her followers that she witnessed police firing rubber bullets at her group while their “hands were up. unmoving. and they gassed and fired.”

Tessa Thompson also shared a video of protestors kneeling and chanting, “This is our America.”

“I can say that the #LosAngelesProtest was entirely peaceful until the @LAPDHQ arrived and escalated it,” she added on Twitter.
