Congratulations to Lena Dunham, as multiple sources have confirmed that she got married to Luis Felber at the weekend!

The 35-year-old Girls star reportedly married the 35-year-old English Peruvian musician in an intimate ceremony over the weekend – and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Although Lena Dunham hasn’t commented on the nuptials via statement or on social media, her new husband – known professionally as Attawalpa – seemed to reference the wedding by sharing the song This Will Be Our Year by The Zombies on his Instagram stories alongside some heart and alien emojis. And that’s good enough for us!

The choice of song is very interesting, as Lena Dunham also referenced the song in a birthday message to her boyfriend back in June…

“When I was 3 weeks old in downtown Manhattan, I had no idea a baby was being born in England (Winchester, no less!) who would rocket into my life- wearing a lime green polar fleece snood- and challenge so many of my beliefs about myself and the world with magical abandon,” she wrote, before ending the post with lyrics from The Zombies song, This Will Be Our Year.

“The warmth of your love is like the warmth of the sun and this will be our year, took a long time to come. Happy Birthday, Lulu.”

The Not That Kind of Girl author has been dating the musician for less than a year, with Lena confirming their relationship to The New York Times back in April. She didn’t mention him by name and just told the publication that she had been seeing someone “for a few months”. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Sundance Film Festival in London just last month.

It may not be the longest relationship before heading down the aisle, but Lena Dunham said the musician was “the greatest person I’ve ever met” which is all we need to know.

Jason Derulo has just revealed that he has split from Jena Frumes, just four months after they welcomed their son, Jason King, into the world.

The 32-year-old musician took to social media to tell his fans about the update in his personal life – something we wish more celebs would do, as it would certainly separate the truth from the rumors – while also asking for privacy on the matter.

“Jena and I have decided to part ways,” he wrote on Twitter.

“She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be.

“Pls respect our privacy in this time.”

Jason and the 28-year-old fitness model have been dating since March 2020, and often made very entertaining TikToks together during quarantine last year. They welcomed their son, Jason King, into the world on May 8 this year, which Jason Derulo said was the “happiest day” of his life.

“He’s so lucky to have such a strong caring hero of a mother @jenafrumes,” he added at the time.

We don’t know why they decided to go their separate ways, and we have to admit that we didn’t see this split coming, as Jena posted a very cute and heartfelt Twitter status in celebration of their joint birthdays (on September 21) just one day before Jason’s announcement…

“Blessed to share the same day of birth with my lover. You are the most handsome, hardworking, talented, silly, loving human ever,” Jena wrote on Wednesday September 22.

“You truly make me whole and I’m so grateful for the love we share. You and our mini make me the happiest girl in the world and I can’t wait to make more memories with you guys.

“I know I’m a tough cookie but you make me soft and accept me for who I am and I’m forever grateful for that. Cheers to another year! I love you so much, forever.”

She has since deleted the Twitter post, for obvious reasons, but at the time of writing, still has pictures with Jason up.

We wonder if the couple – or friends of the couple – will share more about why this seemingly perfect relationship ended so suddenly…

We’re heartbroken after hearing the news that beloved actor Willie Garson has died, aged 57.

The actor was best known for his roles as Mozzie in US police procedural, White Collar, and of course, Carrie Bradshaw’s best male friend, Stanford Blatch, in Sex and the City. He was one of the many actors who signed up to reprise his role in the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That, which is currently in production. It’s not clear how much he had filmed before his passing.

Although his exact cause of death hasn’t been revealed yet, Sex and the City executive producer Michael Patrick King mentioned that the actor had been sick in the statement he released following his death.

“The Sex and the City family has lost one of its own. Our amazing Willie Garson,” Michael Patrick King said in a statement.

“His spirit and his dedication to his craft was present every day filming And Just Like That. He was there – giving us his all – even while he was sick.

“His multitude of gifts as an actor and person will be missed by everyone. In this sad, dark moment we are comforted by our memory of his joy and light.”

A spokesperson for HBO also issued a heartfelt statement following the late actor’s death, saying he was a “bright light” for everyone…

“Willie Garson was in life, as on screen, a devoted friend and a bright light for everyone in his universe,” the statement read.

“He created one of the most beloved characters from the HBO pantheon and was a member of our family for nearly 25 years. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing and extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.”

As well as White Collar and Sex and the City, Willie Garson also appeared in TV shows such as Friends, The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ally McBeal, and Boy Meets World, to name just a few, and films such as There’s Something About Mary, Being John Malkovich, Fever Pitch and Groundhog Day.

As expected, Willie Garson received loving and heartfelt tributes from his many co-stars, as well as famous friends, family, fans, and his 19-year-old son Nathen.

“I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you,” the 19-year-old, who Willie Garson adopted back in 2009, shared.

“I will always love you, but I think it’s time for you to go on an adventure of your own. You’ll always be with me. Love you more than you will ever know and I’m glad you can be at peace now.

“You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared [your] love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it.”

Tributes from his Sex and the City co-stars also poured in…

“So deeply, deeply sad we have lost @WillieGarson. We all loved him and adored working with him,” Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbes, wrote.

“He was endlessly funny on-screen and in real life. He was a source of light, friendship and show business lore. He was a consummate professional.”

“We are bereft without him,” added Kristin Davis, who plays the role of Charlotte York Goldenblatt.

“He was smarter and funnier than you ever would have imagined.”

Kim Cattrall, who expertly played the role of Samantha Jones in the Sex and the City TV show and the two movies – but is not returning for the And Just Like That reboot – also shared a heartfelt message on social media.

“Such sad news and a terribly sad loss to the SATC family. Our condolences and RIP dear Willie xo,” she wrote on Twitter, alongside a picture of the two of them from the show.

Sarah Jessica Parker said she was “not ready” to post a message on social media just yet and simply replied to a tribute from co-star Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big on the show.

Commenting under Chris Noth’s tribute, which was a picture of Sarah and Willie laughing on set with the simple caption, “Willie,” SJP wrote: “Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet. Xxx.”

RIP to one of the greatest and best-loved actors of our time. Sex and the City wouldn’t have been the same without him!

Amy Schumer is one of the funniest comedians in the world – but her latest social media post was no laughing matter, as she opened up about the hysterectomy and appendectomy procedures she recently had due to her ongoing battle with endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a condition that involves tissue similar to the lining of the uterus growing outside the uterus (often the ovaries and fallopian tubes) which causes extreme pain and, quite commonly, infertility.

The 40-year-old Trainwreck actress said that she was “hopeful” following the procedure, and despite experiencing some soreness, said that her energy levels were already up following the surgery…

“I’m feeling really hopeful and I am really glad that I did it, and I think it’s going to change my life,” Amy Schumer said on Instagram.

Amy said that she wanted to share her story to raise awareness for the condition because “so many people don’t even know the word endometriosis” despite one in 10 women having it.

“I’m going to try to share this story at some point to raise awareness because so many people don’t even know the word endometriosis and it’s like one in 10 women has it,” she continued.

“It’s really painful and debilitating and you don’t have to live with it.”

Amy Schumer went into more detail about the surgery on another video which she shared to Instagram, and revealed that she had to have her appendix removed after the doctor found 30 endometriosis spots which had spread there from her uterus.

“The doctor found 30 spots of endometriosis that he removed,” she said in the video.

“He removed my appendix because the endometriosis had attacked it. There was a lot, a lot, of blood in my uterus.”

As you can imagine, Amy had lots of support from friends and fans alike, including some very famous faces…

Padma Lakshmi said: “Thank you so much for sharing your endo story. Over 200 million women worldwide suffer with this. Hope you feel better soon! @endofound”

Debra Messing wrote: ” Oh my goodness, 30?! So happy they are gone and you won’t have that pain anymore. Heal well Am!”

Keeping things short and sweet, Selma Blair wrote: “I am so sorry. Rest. Recover.”

And Jennette McCurdy, who admitted that she too was “bedridden” once a month – we assume from painful periods commonly associated with the condition – wrote: “i was just told this by my gynecologist ! i’m bedridden for 24 hours once a month. thank you for talking about this. wishing you a speedy recovery”

Last night, things seemed like they were getting back to the real normal – not just the new normal – as the highly anticipated Primetime Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles.

The red carpet was star-studded, the outfits were seemingly more attention-grabbing and fabulous than ever, and the acceptance speeches were some of the most emotional we have ever heard.

But no acceptance speech was more powerful than Michaela Coel’s when the 33-year-old writer and actress won the award – her first-ever Primetime Emmy, may we add – in the ‘Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category for the sensational I May Destroy You, which she also starred in.

The hard-hitting drama which was created, written by, and co-directed by Michaela Coel features her character, Arabella, being assaulted, and was based on her own experiences. She previously said that she had her drink spiked and was attacked on a night out, during the time she was working on her sitcom, Chewing Gum.

Michaela Coel was nominated for six Emmys in total, but her ‘Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie’ victory also means that she is the first-ever Black woman to win in that category, which makes it a true history-making win!

In her short but extremely powerful acceptance speech, the Emmy-winner said that she dedicated the award to all the survivors of sexual assault. She also urged everyone who wanted to replicate her success to “write the tale that scares you, that makes you feel uncertain, that isn’t comfortable. I dare you.”

“In a world that entices us to browse through the lives of others to help us better determine how we feel about ourselves, and to in turn feel the need to be constantly visible – for visibility, these days seems to somehow equate to success – do not be afraid to disappear from it, from us, for a while and see what comes to you in the silence,” she continued.

“I dedicate this story to every single survivor of sexual assault.”

Gabrielle Union just taught everyone a lesson on the importance of forgiveness…

In her newly-released memoir, You Got Anything Stronger?, the 48-year-old Bring It On star opened about feeling “devastated” about Dwyane Wade having a child with another woman before they got married. She said it hurt even more because she and the 39-year-old former basketball player had their own struggles with getting pregnant.

Gabrielle and Dwyane – who have now been married for seven years and are parents to two-year-old daughter Kaavia, who they welcomed via surrogate in 2018– started dating in 2008. They had a brief break in their relationship in 2013, which is when Dwyane fathered his now seven-year-old son, Xavier, who he had with Aja Métoyer. He is also father to Zaire, 19, and Zaya, 14, from a previous relationship.

“To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience,” Gabrielle said in the book.

“It should go without saying that we were not in a good place in our relationship at the time that child was conceived. But we were in a much better place when he finally told me about the pregnancy.”

Gabrielle Union also went into heart-breaking detail about how she felt about the retired Miami Heat player being able to father a child with another woman so easily. She previously spoke very candidly about being diagnosed with adenomyosis, and having “eight or nine” miscarriages due to the condition that affects the uterus.

“The experience of Dwyane having a baby so easily while I was unable to left my soul not just broken into pieces, but shattered into fine dust scattering in the wind,” she wrote.

“With desperate hands, we gathered what we could to slowly remake me into something new.”

She went on to say that a doctor told her that the “best chance for a healthy baby would be surrogacy,” which is an option she and Dwyane considered. And we bet they’re eternally grateful that they went down that route, as they seem blissfully happy with their daughter, Kaavia, who was born via surrogate.

We’re so grateful that Gabrielle Union was able to open up about this painful chapter in her life, and can’t wait to read the rest of her memoir.

We don’t know about you, but we’re here for Sam Asghari’s slightly unexpected prenup comments.

Over the weekend, Britney Spears shocked her fans by revealing that she was engaged to 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari. And while most of her fans flooded her Instagram page with congratulatory messages, many of the commenters only had one thing on the brain, as they urged the 39-year-old singer to get a prenuptial agreement before making things official.

Naturally, the model and fitness instructor saw the comments from concerned fans and even a few A-listers (legendary 51-year-old Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer was one of them, writing “make him sign a prenup” on the post)  and responded to them in the best way possible.

“Thank you for your concern about the prenup!” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

“Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day,” he continued, and added two laughing emojis.

As well as being easy on the eye, it turns out that he is also quite the comedian – no wonder Britney Spears fell for him!

Octavia Spencer and the rest of Britney’s fans will be pleased to know that arrangements for a prenup are already in progress. The singer is said to have a $60 million fortune, and according to TMZ, “her camp is already mobilizing to get a prenup drafted” to protect it.

Now that we’ve digested the news that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are engaged, we can talk about some other events that happened over the weekend.

As well as Britney getting engaged (we’re so happy for her!) the weekend was all about the MTV VMA Awards – and one of the biggest talking points from the awards ceremony that took place in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday night came courtesy of a red carpet fight between Machine Gun Kelly and Irish MMA star, Conor McGregor. Yes, really…

So what actually happened?

According to reports, the 31-year-old rapper and the 33-year-old UFC champ “got into a fight at the top of the carpet” and “had to be pulled apart”. Pictures obtained by several media outlets definitely seem to show that there was an altercation between the two men, despite Conor McGregor and his reps seemingly trying to hint otherwise.

We don’t know how the fight actually started, but TMZ reports that Conor McGregor asked for a photo with the Bloody Valentine singer, who is currently dating 35-year-old Transformers actress, Megan Fox. The request appeared to have been turned down by his people, thus resulting in the fight. TMZ’s source also added that Megan Fox seemed to step in to lead her boyfriend away from a potential fight, and Conor McGregor threw what was left of his drink at the couple.

The photographers, according to Page Six’s sources, were not happy with the UFC fighter, as they were worried that Megan and MGC – aka one of the hottest couples of the night – wouldn’t walk the red carpet as a result of the fight. And that would have been a tragedy for everyone! Can you imagine missing out on seeing Megan Fox walk the red carpet in her barely-there Mugler dress?

“They scuffled, then it settled down and Conor went for him again,” a source told Page Six, before confirming that the photographers were “saying they were going to boycott Conor because they were worried MGK and Megan wouldn’t walk.”

“McGregor was ready to throw fists,” a second source added.

“Security was having trouble holding him back.”

Despite all the witnesses, Conor McGregor is suggesting that nothing happened, and he doesn’t “even know” MGK, other than the fact that he is “with Megan Fox”.

“Absolutely nothing happened,” he said, according to Talk Sport.

“I don’t know. I just showed up and I don’t know. I don’t even know the guy to be honest with you. Just rumours. Nothing happened with me.

“I only fight real fighters. People that actually fight. I certainly don’t fight little Vanilla Ice white rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

Hmm…

Let’s just say that we’re eternally grateful that MGK and Megan Fox walked the red carpet and gave us one of the most daring and memorable looks in VMA history!

We feel bad for everyone at the 2021 MTV VMAs, as there’s only one topic on everyone’s lips this morning – Britney Spears’s engagement!

The 39-year-old singer revealed that she is engaged to 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari, in a very cute video she shared on Instagram.

In the short and sweet video, she can be seen putting her hand in front of her mouth in a shocked motion and flashing a gargantuan engagement ring which definitely didn’t go unnoticed. We don’t think we’ve seen her look so genuinely happy in years!

“I can’t f***ing believe it,” she captioned the video, alongside several engagement ring emojis, a heart emoji, and many exclamation points that followed.

The news was also officially confirmed by Sam Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen…

“The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them,” he told People.

Sam Asghari shared another post about the engagement to his own Instagram account, showing his followers another picture of the gorgeous ring.

According to reports, the ring is a four carat diamond ring, with the word “lioness”, his nickname for his now fiancée, engraved on the band. The ring features a brilliant round stone in a platinum cathedral setting, and was reportedly designed by Forever Diamonds NY founder, Roman Malayev.

“Every designer I spoke with about the ring was amazing with great ideas, but I just clicked with Roman,” Sam Asghari said in a statement.

“We really connected on the design and he was as excited as I was to make it special—that’s why I chose him.”

Britney Spears and the Iranian model met on the set of her Slumber Party music video back in 2016. If Britney and Sam do make it down the aisle, it will be his first and her third marriage.

She was briefly married to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, before getting the marriage annulled after just 55 hours, and then married Kevin Federline later that same year. She and Kevin, who divorced in 2007, share two sons; Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.

We think the third time’s definitely the charm, and we can’t wait for them to start their new life together.

Congratulations to Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell, as the pair are officially married!

The 32-year-old Emily in Paris star got married to the 37-year-old director at the weekend and took to Instagram to share the happy news – alongside some gorgeous pictures from their special day – with her followers.

The pair tied the knot at the picturesque Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado, and it looked like the most magical wedding ceremony judging from the pictures. We’re glad that we can see Lily’s long-sleeved hooded wedding dress by Ralph Lauren in great detail, as it deserves to be seen and appreciated in all its glory!

“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,” the bride wrote, alongside a truly stunning picture of them sharing a kiss at the altar.

“On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…”

“What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality,” Lily captioned another picture of them, this time standing on some rocks by a waterfall.

“I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start.”

Charlie McDowell also took to his own social media to comment on the day, writing, “I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins.”

“I’m so excited to be your WIFEY,” Lily Collins commented on his post.

Lily Collins – who is the daughter of the one and only Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman – started dating Charlie McDowell – the son of Mary Steenburgen and Malcom McDowell – back in 2019. They announced their engagement in September last year.
