It’s just been revealed that Aaron Carter has broken up with his fiancée Melanie Martin, just one week after the birth of their son, Prince Lyric Carter.

The 33-year-old I Want Candy singer took to Twitter to make the news public, claiming that a “very big lie” is what caused the pair to go their “separate ways”! Yikes!

“Due to personal reason Melanie Martin and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Aaron Carter wrote on Twitter.

“There has been a very big lie and my sister communicating w my ex fiancé ruined everything considering she knew what angel tried to do to me in court thanks angel you ruined my family. God bless”

It’s worth noting that his estranged twin sister Angel had a domestic violence restraining order against her brother extended back in 2019, so that could be what the part about the “court” was referring to in his Twitter status.

Interestingly, before he posted the above message about their separation, Aaron Carter shared the following message on Twitter: “Hey Angel my sister my twin we haven’t spoken in almost 3 years since you got a restraining order on me please stop talking to my fiancé behind my back thanks”.

And he has posted quite a few other messages since, including:

“I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie  has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court. I’m in shocked this is horrible”

“I can’t even shed a tear. I’m in utter shock i’ve been lied to for two years my family won’t leave me alone they try to ruin everything no I’m a single father Pleading face The worst part about it is she knew what they were doing to me and she lied to me for two years”

“I don’t have a family now. I was deceived and lied too. I can’t believe she betrayed this way. I gave her the world. There’s more to the story then meets the eye Pleading facePensive face My Heart hurts broken heart”

According to his Twitter statuses, Aaron also revealed that Melanie told him she would be moving to Las Vegas with their son and a friend, and he now considered himself to be a “single” father.

“I’ve never felt more devastated and betrayed and lied to in my entire life this is such a horrible situation considering prince doesn’t deserve any of this and now it’s my job to just be a single father and that’s what’s gonna happen,” another Twitter status read.

On November 22, the engaged couple revealed that their son was born after 13 hours of labor and an emergency C-section.

“Prince is precious I love you son. Your mommy loves you as I drop tears on the phone,” Aaron Carter wrote on Instagram as the caption to a video of him cutting the umbilical cord.

“@missmelaniemartin I’m so proud of you hunny you did it. I Love you with all my heart my beautiful blessings from god.”

Melanie Martin has yet to comment on Aaron’s Twitter statuses, nor have any reps issued any official statements, but we’ll keep you posted with more info as and when we get it!

Yesterday we heard from Britney Spears’ younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, regarding the star’s controversial 13-year-conservatorship.

And today, Kevin Federline – i.e. the father to Britney’s sons, 15-year-old Sean Preston, and 14-year-old Jayden James – has also broken his silence on the matter. And his attorney statement is quite something…

Kevin Federline – who was married to Britney Spears from 2004 to 2007 and currently has primary custody of their two sons – released a statement via his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan regarding the conservatorship.

And while it looks like the 42-year-old former backup dancer is fully supportive of his ex-wife and the mother of two of his six children, it isn’t actually that simple.

From what we can tell from the statement, it looks like Kevin is fully on board with Britney’s conservatorship coming to an end, although he is pushing for her to be reviewed before any final decisions are made.

This isn’t what Britney herself had asked for in court last week, as she requested for the conservatorship to end without further evaluation…

“I’ve seen it reported that Britney wants the conservatorship terminated without any expert evaluation,” Mark Vincent Kaplan told Page Six, before referencing the fact that Britney claimed she was put on lithium against her wishes as part of her treatment.  

“One thing that I can imagine will engender a further dialogue should it be terminated is that I know she had revealed in the statement she made that she had been put on lithium, and I think, as you can imagine, lithium is regarded as a very powerful psychotropic medication.

“I have to hope that if some medical professional prescribed that for her that there was some condition or basis for that to be deemed an appropriate medical protocol.”

Although Kevin Federline doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the conservatorship, his lawyer confirmed that he is “very comfortable with the conservatorship being dissolved” as long as she “is able to handle herself in a way that does not jeopardise herself or her children should they be in her custody.”

And even though Kevin Federline would like Britney to be evaluated before any final decisions are made, he – via his lawyer – made it very clear that her health and happiness, along with the health, happiness, and safety of their children, are his only priorities…

“It was distressing to see her be in distress,” Mark Vincent Kaplan added.

“Kevin really has no inside information about what goes on inside of the conservatorship, but obviously if Britney is in a healthy and good and strong place, that’s great.

“He wants her to be happy and healthy.”

One year after insiders confirmed that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were giving things another go, the on/off couple appear to have called it quits again.

Although we don’t know the exact details, several news outlets are claiming that the 36-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the 30-year-old Boston Celtics player may have actually broken up a few weeks ago…

“Khloé and Tristan broke up recently,” a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight.

“Tristan was at a birthday party in Bel Air on Friday night and was acting very single throughout the evening.

“The Kardashians were invited to the party but did not attend.”

A second source confirmed to the publication that Khloé and Tristan “ended their relationship a few weeks ago”.

“Khloé gave Tristan several chances and after new allegations decided it was time to break things off,” the source continued, before adding that their three-year-old daughter True is their top priority.

“The two are on good terms and at the end of the day, Khloé just wants True to have a good relationship with her father.”

The new allegations are most likely in relation to Instagram model Sydney Chase, who claimed that she slept with the NBA player during the fall of 2020, which is when he and Khloé were reportedly back together.

The Instagram model made the claim back in April this year, although TMZ reports that Tristan Thompson’s lawyers denied the allegations that were made at the time.

According to several insiders, the couple have always tried to keep things amicable for the sake of their daughter, but it hasn’t always been easy for Khloé to trust him…

“The ups and downs with Tristan were always very frustrating for Khloé. She has worked so hard to trust Tristan,” another source told People.

Another insider confirmed that despite everything, they “are trying to be on good terms” for the sake of their daughter, and as a result, “Khloé will do what’s best for True”.

They were spotted together with their daughter at the end of last week, which proves that things are still somewhat amicable.

The next day, however, according to several sources, the basketball player was acting like a very single man while attending a birthday party in Bel Air…

“Tristan took off into one of the party rooms where everyone goes to hook up,” a source reportedly told The Daily Mail.

“He was with three women and another guy. One of the girls he was with is a regular partier — she’s always out and about at parties.

“The other girls have just started going out with this group. He did this in front of about 30 people so you could hear people talking.

“When he arrived, his shirt looked all pressed and when he came out, his shirt was a mess, he looked dishevelled. He continued to party for about another hour and then he left the party at about 4 a.m. with his entourage.”

Macaulay Culkin is officially a dad!

The 40-year-old Home Alone actor has welcomed a baby boy with 33-year-old former Disney Channel star, Brenda Song.

And the name the new parents chose for their son has a very deep and personal meaning…

They have named their baby boy Dakota, after Macaulay’s later sister Dakota, who died when she was just 29 years old after being hit by a car in December 2008.

Macaulay Culkin and the Suite Life Of Zack & Cody star managed to keep the pregnancy a secret, and didn’t divulge much information following the birth either, apart from just two words…

“We’re overjoyed,” the new parents said in a short but sweet statement.

Reps confirmed that baby Dakota was born in Los Angeles on Monday, April 5 at 1:10 pm, weighing 6 pounds and 14 ounces.

Although the pregnancy was a secret, the couple wasn’t shy about revealing that they wanted a baby in the not-so-distant future…

“I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing,” the actor joked on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

“I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny, little Asian babies. It’s going to be adorable.”

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin met on the set of the film Changeland in Thailand back in 2017. And although the couple is pretty low-key about their relationship, they certainly have a lot of nice things to say about each other when they are asked…

“People don’t realize how incredibly kind and loyal and sweet and smart he is,” Brenda Song previously told Esquire about her now baby daddy.

“Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack. He knows who he is, and he’s 100 percent okay with that.

“And that to me is an incredibly sexy quality. He’s worked really hard to be the person he is.”

Following Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood’s allegations against ex-boyfriend Marilyn Manson, Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco has also come forward with her own accusations against the rock musician.

Esmé Bianco played the role of prostitute Ros on Game of Thrones, and briefly dated the rock musician – real name Brian Warner – back in 2011 after meeting on the set of an unreleased music video. She is the latest in a string of women to speak out against the singer…

Just last week, American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers alleged that the musician had a ‘rape room’ in his house, while singer Ellie Roswell referenced him using a GoPro to film up her skirt at a concert.

According to reports, Esmé Bianco alleged that Marilyn Manson had chased her with an axe while they were living together. She also mentioned that he had intentionally inflicted cuts and bruises that left her with permanent scars.

She also alleged that he repeatedly played her very intimate Game of Thrones sex scene to guests visiting their home in order to humiliate her.

When asked why she waited so long to come forward with the allegations, or why she stayed with him for as long as she did, the actress said that she feared her work visa would be taken away from her. She was referring to her work for Marilyn Manson’s Lewis Carroll-inspired film Phantasmagoria…

“I was in survival mode at that point, and my brain had taught me to be small and agreeable,” she said in an interview with The Cut.

“I basically felt like a prisoner,” she continued, talking about the dynamic of their relationship.

“I came and went at his pleasure. Who I spoke to was completely controlled by him. I called my family hiding in the closet.”

Marilyn Manson has not responded to the latest allegations, although he did previously deny Evan Rachel Wood’s allegations, and called them “horrible distortions of reality”.

His ex-wife, Dita von Teese, was also quick to defend him on social media, and issued a long statement claiming that he was never abusive to her while they were together.

Nevertheless, Marilyn Manson was dropped by his manager Tony Ciulla after 25 years after Evan Rachel Wood came forward with her allegations.

He has since been let go from his record label, Loma Vista, and has also been axed from the TV series American Gods and Creepshow.

Gleb Savchenko’s 14-year-marriage may be over… but Chrishell Stause wants everyone to know that she had nothing to do with it!

The 39-year-old actress and star of Netflix’s Selling Sunset has been accused of getting a little too close to her Dancing with the Stars partner, 37-year-old Gleb Savchenko, amid the reports that he and Elena Samodanova, his wife of 14 years, are going their separate ways.

However, Chrishell hasn’t taken the accusation lightly, and has issued a statement – via her rep – to insist that she and the DWTS pro are nothing more than friends…

“Any insinuation or accusation that Chrishell is in any way involved in the dissolution of Gleb and Elena’s marriage is 100% categorically false,” her rep reportedly said in a statement.

“To be clear: Chrishell and Gleb are in no way, and have never been in any way, romantically involved.”

Gleb took matters into his own hands and issued a statement to insist that the separation had nothing to do with a third party…

“While I will continue to respect the privacy of my family, I will not stand by and allow false accusations and internet rumors go unaddressed,” the pro dancer said in a statement.

“My relationship with Chrishell was and remains strictly platonic. Our friendship during our season on DWTS was not the reason for our split. Elena and I have had longstanding issues in our marriage. This has been an ongoing situation between Elena and I paired with poor timing.

“It was my deepest hope to keep our private life just that: private. I am saddened and disappointed to see that Elena has chosen not to do the same.”

The end of Gleb’s statement is in no doubt in reference to his wife’s recent accusations in the media…

“After 14 years of marriage, and multiple affairs, I’ve decided enough is enough,” Elena Samodanova told People, when news of the separation first came out.

“Gleb and I have created a family and multiple businesses together. But apparently, it just wasn’t enough to keep our marriage strong.

“Gleb’s ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship has created turmoil in our marriage and absolutely torn our family apart.”

“No wife should ever stand by and watch while another woman gifts her husband expensive presents, lures him out to dinners and seduces him at every turn. Last night was the final straw, and I can no longer turn my head the other way.

“My trust in Gleb is irrevocably broken and it is time that I walk away and begin to heal so I can be the best version of myself for my girls.”

Elena didn’t give any more details regarding the alleged other woman and the alleged “recent inappropriate relationship”, although the internet believes that it’s likely she may have been referring to Chrishell.

Chrishell also referenced Gleb and Elena’s separation on Instagram when the news first broke, adding that she wouldn’t wish the end of marriage on anyone; especially following her widely publicized divorce from This Is Us star Justin Hartley last year…

“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life,” she said on her Instagram Story.

“Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone. As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more.

“I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”

Iggy Azalea is officially a mom!

The 30-year-old Fancy rapper confirmed that she has given birth to a son after fans kept speculating whether or not she and her 23-year-old boyfriend Playboi Carti – real name Jordan Terrell Carter – were new parents.

She took to social media to tell her followers that she had wanted to keep her son’s life private, although he is definitely “not a secret”.

She also confirmed that she was waiting for the right time to tell the world as she was very “anxious” about making the announcement…

“I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realise I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,” she wrote in an Instagram Story.

“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”

Iggy Azalea and fellow rapper Playboi Carti have always kept their relationship very private, so we’re not shocked to see that they want to keep the life of their son private too.

They have reportedly been dating since 2018, and moved in together very shortly after. Rumor has it that they are engaged, as Iggy has been spotted with a ring on THAT finger on several occasions, but they haven’t made any official announcements…

We all sometimes get an uncontrollable need for late night food. And we can all agree that the struggle to eat healthily is real! We have to battle with the uncontrollable urge to snack, especially at midnight (and we lose the battle most times!). Some late night foods are better than others and it is important to know what you can munch on without feeling too guilty.

Why your midnight snack shouldn’t consist of these!

If you are guilty of eating right before you go to bed, you are not alone. Lucky for you, while taking midnight snacks is not the best for your health, we will be looking at healthy and good late night snacks if you do decide to snack and the unhealthy midnight snacks you should avoid at all cost right before you go to bed.

Ditch the sugary cereals!

It can be so easy to munch on a bowl of cereal. However, most of these cereals come fully loaded with refined sugar. These are not healthy late night snacks because they are not great for your waistline. This is not to say you should ditch all cereals. If you are to go for cereal as a good late night snack, make sure it is a bowl of a small-portioned cereal rich in whole grains and fiber.

Don’t even go near fries!

It can be so easy to have a late night delivery of fried foods and wash it down with a chilled drink but resist the temptation. Fried foods like chips, burgers, hot dogs, French fries, among others, are really high in fat. Fries as a late night food or midnight snack will definitely take time to digest and can sometimes give abdominal cramps.

Ice-cream equals obesity

You should repeatedly chant this mantra; “Ice-cream equals obesity” whenever you are tempted to take a scoop of the ice-cream in your freezer as your midnight snack. While it may be extremely comforting and give off a “feel good” vibe, this unhealthy midnight snack is loaded with fats. These will be very hard to burn since it is bedtime.

Leave the left-over pizza alone!

Don’t even look in this direction. It can be easy to microwave pizza and munch on it when the midnight hunger pangs come with all its might. The extra cheese and meat toppings contained in it are as unhealthy as it gets. Asking “what do I want to eat before bed?” Left-over pizza is one of the many unhealthy late night snacks to avoid.

Red meat should remain in the pot till morning

I am aware that meat is an amazing source of protein and helps build muscle tissues. Before you take a juicy bite of red meat as a late night snack, you should know that it is disastrous to your weight and might not let you get a good sleep. This is because you force the digestive system to be active which can be disruptive to your sleep. White meat like turkey or chicken is a much preferable and healthy option.

Stay far away from coffee

This one is for all the coffee lovers in the house. If you want to be up all night, by all means, knock yourself out with this late night food. However, if you want to have a good night, you should remove coffee (which contains caffeine) from your midnight snack plans. If you need a soothing drink, you can replace coffee with warm milk or Greek yogurt.

Avoid dark chocolates

This is indeed a sad choice that had to come on the list. Who doesn’t love a nice bar of dark chocolate to munch on? You should know that these chocolates contain a high amount of sugar, theobromine, and caffeine which can disrupt one’s sleep.

Steer clear from pasta and macaroni

It can be so easy to make pasta or macaroni, as a late night snack right before bed. However, it is not a healthy meal to take right before bedtime. Carbohydrates are converted into fats if you go to bed immediately after eating it. Do not get me started on the ingredients that you may use to garnish the food like oil, cream, sauce, among others which may be high in calories. If you are weight-conscious, you will need to cross these ones off the list.

Conclusion

While it is best practice to avoid midnight snacking altogether, it will not hurt to indulge once in a while when you feel hungry. This is because when hunger is not satiated, it can affect our sleep. If you are like me who sometimes works late and needs to get our munching game on, you should have good late night snacks which will definitely come in handy.

Some easy midnight snacks that are healthy substitutes include, non-caffeinated tea, fruits, cashew nuts, almonds, popcorn (not the kind soaked in milk and sugar), among others. They are quite filling. Always remember to keep the portions light and small if you want to maintain that amazing figure of yours!

The post-2014 Met Gala elevator fight between Jay-Z and Solange Knowles is one of the most infamous elevetor fights Hollywood has ever seen.

To this day, no one knows exactly what sparked it, but it’s widely assumed that Solange was defending sister Beyoncé, possibly even reacting to one of Jay-Z’s alleged infidelities.

Some say it was sparked by Jay-Z flirting with an unnamed female at the Met Gala, but we guess we’ll never know the whole truth. We’re just putting pieces together based on Bey and Jay’s albums, and countless rumours.

We know that some parents would be mortified to see their grown children engaging in such behaviour, but Matthew Knowles couldn’t have had a more opposite reaction. He actually found the whole thing rather amusing…

“I have to tell you, I laughed so hard,” he told Wendy Williams on US chat show Wendy.

“I laughed so hard because, if you know Solange — that’s Solange. You just never know what you’re going to get… a firecracker. Don’t know where she gets that from.

“Then Beyoncé would be in the corner, quiet, just kinda, like ‘When y’all finish, let me know.’ So I laughed.”

We definitely didn’t expect that reaction, but we’re glad that he saw the funny side. Let’s hope that it’s all been brushed under the carpet – after all, it was four years ago!
