Rihanna has been praised by women all over the world for choosing curvy mannequins to display her new Fenty collection.

The curvy mannequins are on display in her new Fenty pop-up store at The Webster in NYC’s SoHo District – and fans took to social media to express their excitement!

“BREAKING NEWS: Rihanna is praised for using a curvy mannequin that has ‘love handles’ and a stomach ‘pouch’ in her Fenty store – as women admit it’s the ‘first time’ they have ever seen their body represented,” one fan excitedly wrote on Twitter.

“It’s beautiful and a relief to see. Realistic models and mannequins can only benefit the stores/designers. People can see what they will literally look like in the clothes selling more clothing and lowering return,” another fan Tweeted.

We’re not actually surprised that Rihanna has made this bold yet very necessary move.

The 31-year-old has recently spoken about how changes to her own body have made her more aware of women’s different shapes and sizes. And as a result, she now pays even more attention to different body types during her designing process…

“Of course we have our fit models, which is the standard size from factories. But then I want to see it on my body,” she recently told E! News.

“I want to see it on a curvy girl with thighs and a little bit of booty and hips — and now I have boobs that I never had before!

“All of these things I take into consideration because I want women to feel confident in my stuff.”

And it certainly looks like she is achieving that goal. Just look at the social media comments…
