The thing is, these deals can make you go crazy. You might look at them and practically have the desire to get everything on every page. You might even find yourself buying toys for kids and yet you have no one to give them to just because they look too cute and are on sale.

Well, if you really want to save yourself from impulse buying, create a shopping list of the things that you really want and need before even browsing the deals that are available. That way you will be able to adapt your list based on what is available. Try and stick to the list as much as possible.

Consider the online deals

Black Friday sales during corona, most retail stores are offering online deals. This is a great way to save up on gas as well as time that you would have wasted standing up in line. Now this year those who will practically visit the stores shopping in crowds with a mask. So if you are really want to avoid crowded places, take a look at the stores that you would otherwise have visited.

Carry your ads

There are some stores that usually take advantage of shoppers and refuse to honor their Black Friday deals. Now it can be hard to rely on ads you saw online because they can be pulled down. One thing you need to do is if you saw a Black Friday ad on paper, cut it out, and carry it. If you saw the ad online, you can also print it out and carry it with you. That will at least help convince the retail attendant.

Get a shopping buddy

Now, I know that we have been advised to stay at home and avoid crowds during Black Friday sales 2020. So you could have someone help you shop online and also peruse different sites in search of products and services on sale so that you can identify the cheapest. But if you really have to visit the store with a friend, make sure that the two of you shop at similar paces. So this can actually help lessen the time you take to shop for stuff since one person can stay in the checkout line while the other picks up stuff.

Stay safe

Wondering how to protect yourself on Black Friday with the pandemic here with us? Well, one thing I know for sure is that a lot of stores where customers will be visiting physically have taken the necessary precautions and have made considerations so that people can shop safely. I am sure there will be associates dishing out sanitized shopping carts,  sanitizing points in the stores, as well as health ambassadors to ensure and remind you to follow the health guidelines such as wearing a mask and social distancing.

Now one thing that I know for sure is that even if all this is put in place, as a person, you need to do your part too. If you are elderly or have some underlying condition, you really need not go shopping. You can simply send someone and stay safe.

Before you even leave the house, make sure that you have carried your sanitizer and are wearing a mask. Whenever I go shopping, I try as much as possible to carry with me more than one mask. Don’t go into the crowds fighting for goods that are on sale. Just follow the social distancing rules and wait your turn.

Just skip the whole thing

There is never a better time than this year to just skip the entire Black Friday sales 2020. The thing is, it doesn’t mean that just because something is on sale you need to buy it. If you have no interest in it, why bother? If you have nothing that you need, why waste your time browsing through the websites and paper looking for something to spend your money on?

If you don’t need anything, don’t leave the house. Much as things are cheap, your money is better off saves up somewhere that spent on things that you will probably never use. So if you are feeling that spending itch, then look for some charity and donate. Alternatively, look for things that you can buy and donate to the homeless. Otherwise, just sit home and relax. You are being advised to do so anyway so that you can stay safe. Save that money for later purchases and emergencies. You never know when you will need it.

That said though, nothing should stop you from enjoying these great deals and getting the people you or yourself great gifts. Remember, Safety begins with you. Stay safe while shopping for these deals.

Is it normal to be jealous of a friend’s time? Well, whenever one gets a little jealous of their best friend, most people usually think that they are the worst people in the whole worldwide. The thing is, as one’s close friend, people expect you to be happy about the good things that happen in their lives… for instance, when a friend gets a new boyfriend or girlfriend, you should be as ecstatic as they are. But what happens when suddenly this friend of yours has less or no time for you? Is it wrong to be scared of losing her or scared of losing him?

Why its normal to be the jealous friend

If you are worried about being the jealous friend or you feel your friend is jealous of your success or your dating life, then one thing I need to tell you that it is normal. People expect it to happen all the time. It’s also normal to feel guilty about it because our culture expects us to jump for joy when something great happens to our friends. Being jealous gets you the ‘green-eyed monster’ label which makes one look bad to the society.

It gets worse when we associate the guilt of feeling jealous with the fear of losing that friend when they discover you are jealous of them. It is normal to have our insecurities and talk to about them with our friends. But when we think about how our friends would react, it scares us because we believe that they will feel like we don’t deserve their friendship.

It normal to be a little envious of a friend. However, the degree to which one is jealous of a friend’s time with their boyfriend is where we draw the line between a good friend and a bad one. Well, let us look at some of the reasons why it is ok to be a little green-eyed for a friend…

Jealousy makes you focus on what you really want in life

No one’s life is perfect. So when we feel a little jealous of a friend, chances are that we are realizing that our lives aren’t perfect. Most of the time its because we feel a little bad that a friend has beaten us to the punch… that a friend is living the dream and we probably aren’t.

Jealousy can actually make us focus on achieving our dreams. We tend to see what our lives are missing through the lens of jealousy. So when your friend is a little jealous of new boyfriend, don’t take it out on them. Chances are they are feeling that way because they wish they also had a boyfriend too. Sometimes the jealousy comes from a point of admiration.

As human beings, we don’t live in a vacuum. So it is pretty normal to compare ourselves with people who are close to us. Much as we may want to be happy for friend we still find ourselves a little jealous. Comparing ourselves to others is healthy because it also helps us develop in life. Now when for instance a jealous of new girlfriend, chances are, they are feeling a little inadequate in comparison.

If for instance, you are just envious because you wish you had more in your life like your friend does – not wanting to take what your friend has, or wanting you to have and he or she doesn’t – then this can be the kick and drive you need to take steps to achieve these things.

Admiring a friend’s achievements can be a great inspiration to be us put in a little more work into achieving what we feel is missing in our lives.

Social media heightens jealousy too

Now if you find yourself jealous of a friend’s time because they are not spending it with you based on all the all-expenses-paid trips they keep posting or you are jealous of new girlfriend because, again, they no time for you, then the issue could be your phone, not just you. The thing is, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms have made people be very competitive. Its more about showing others how great our lives are and how much better we are doing than connecting and socializing. So if your friend is jealous of you, its probably because of the great life you keep shoving in their faces with your plush life social media posts which can make them envious or even heighten symptoms of depression in vulnerable people.

Now one thing we need to realize is that social media isn’t a healthy barometer for comparing ourselves with others because people tend to exaggerate as well as paint a rosy picture of their lives. So if you are jealous of new boyfriend that your friend keeps posting their lovey-dovey life in your life, you might actually find that at least more than 30% is an exaggeration.

When you keep exposing yourself to your friend’s social media pages, even if you really know their lives in person, can lead to obsessive jealousy. If it’s about a boy or girl, you might feel the jealousy of loss of the time he or she is spending with this new found love instead of you. Well, it sometimes normal to have the fear of losing a friend.

Most friends like bragging a little

Now, this is another good reason why being jealous is normal. If for instance, you find yourself at a point in life where things aren’t just going well. But then, this friend of yours has this new dude, new apartment is going on and on about how much the guy is showering her with gifts and trips to exotic places. Won’t you be jealous of a friend’s time especially if they no longer have time for you? Now, much as being a good friend means being happy for your friend, I think sometimes there is a limit to how happy you can be for them.

The thing is if you have a friend who is constantly and insensitively flaunting their riches and success in your face, it’s normal to feel a bit jealous. Some of our friends just don’t know how to read signs that we are down or going through a rough patch. This can really heighten the feelings of jealousy. It might not be because you are not happy about their success. It could be because you are just feeling bad about your failures and they just can’t keep quiet about how great their lives are.

 Now if this is making you feel really bad, do yourself a favor and bring it up with them. If this person is a real friend, then they will be more sensitive about your feelings and tone the bragging down. But also remember to try and be a bit supportive and a little happy for your friend’s success too.

Now if you still find yourself feeling jealousy of loss of your friend over a new boyfriend even after a lot of soul searching, then maybe you resent her boyfriend or your friend. If they keep showing off or there is an unhealthy imbalance of the time they allocate for your friendship, then you really need to ask yourself if they are really your best friend. A healthy friendship should be mutually satisfying.

When you are at a low, feelings of jealousy toward a friend who is successful doesn’t make you a bad friend or person. They make you human.

Pink has always maintained her tough chick image – but even she has admitted that contracting Coronavirus was the scariest thing she had ever experienced…

Pink opened up to Ellen in an emotional interview about her experience with the virus, which she told fans she and 3-year-old son Jameson contracted last month.

(Despite all living together, her 8-year-old daughter Willow, and husband Carey Hart, did not appear to have any symptoms.)

The 40-year-old singer, who revealed that she had asthma all her life, said that her son felt sick first before she suffered with breathing difficulties in the middle of the night…

“At a certain point around March 18, March 19, March 20, when his fever was staying and going up. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t breathe,” she told Ellen.

“That’s when I started to get really scared.

“You can’t help but watch the news every day. Like all the crazy stuff I did and this is the way it ends?”

She then told Ellen that the worst moment was when her son began to complain about chest pains and was also having trouble breathing…

“That’s the point where you are just kind of like, ok are we going to the hospital? Like what are we doing right now? Because this is the scariest thing I’ve ever ever been through in my whole life.”

While her fans and the majority of social media were sympathetic when Pink first opened up about her experience with COVID-19, others were quick to judge, criticize, and resent her for being able to get hold of a test when so many others have been unable to do so.

Naturally, Pink was quick to address the controversy…

“It’s very controversial to people that I was able to get my hands on a test,” she continued.

“I would say two things to that – you should be angry that I can get a test and you can’t, but being angry at me is not going to help anything. It’s not going to solve the issue.

“We should work together to try and change that. Tell me anybody with a sick 3-year-old that if they get their hands on a test they wouldn’t take it, and if they say that I’m calling bulls**t.”

Does she have a point?

Two weeks after testing positive for the novel virus, Pink and Jameson were re-tested, and the results came back negative.

She then donated $1 million to help healthcare workers and those who don’t have access to the same help as she did.

Bebe Rexha has opened up about the moment she was finally diagnosed with bipolar disorder, after years of not knowing where her “weird thoughts” and “weird emotions” were coming from.

In an interview with Self, the 30-year-old singer spoke about being “fearful” of the bipolar 1 condition – in which a person can experience severe manic or depressive episodes for weeks at a time – when she was first diagnosed…

“It did kind of f**k me up for a little bit,” Bebe Rexha recalled.

“I was very fearful… I didn’t want to think there was something wrong with me.

“That was my worst fear all my life: going crazy.”

However, the singer was open with her fans, as she let them in on her diagnosis with a very personal Twitter message in April last year. As 5.7 million Americans are reportedly diagnosed with the disorder, she wanted to help people going through the same thing feel less “imprisoned”…

“I felt like me opening up to my fans was me finally saying, ‘I’m not going to be imprisoned by this.’ And maybe it’ll make somebody not feel imprisoned, in that moment, if they feel like they’re going through a rough time,” she explained.

“That’s why I decided to really open up and to free myself from that.”

During her interview, Bebe went into further detail about her bipolar 1 diagnosis, and referenced how she suffered from extreme highs and lows, as well as severe anxiety and depression, as a child…

“I would text everybody, and I’d just get sloppy. I couldn’t control my emotions, and I was always super anxious, and couldn’t sit still,” she recalled, adding that she remembered having “not normal thoughts” throughout her childhood.

“It made me feel just weird feelings, weird emotions, weird thoughts all the time. Not normal thoughts,” she added.

“I’d be in the passenger seat of the car and I would want to open the door and jump out and just get f**king squashed. Which is terrible.”

Bebe credits therapy and medication for helping her deal with the condition. Despite being initially fearful of its side effects, the singer credited the bipolar medication with helping her express her feelings, which has been particularly helpful when writing music…

“Medication has maybe helped me be a little bit more insightful and learn things about the world and also allowed me to be a little bit more centered so that I can actually write about my feelings,” she continued.

“It doesn’t take away the sadness or anxiety totally, but I feel so much better. It’s helped me live a more balanced life, less ups and downs.

“When my medication started kicking in, I couldn’t believe how I felt. I couldn’t believe that’s how good people could feel.”

We are grateful to Bebe Rexha for being so open – we can’t imagine how many people she has helped with her honesty.

The 52-year-old former Baywatch star got married for the fifth time – this time to 74-year-old A Star Is Born producer Jon Peters.

“They are very much in love and were married yesterday,” Pamela Anderson’s publicist told People.

If you thought this was a spur of the moment decision, you might like to know that Pamela and Jon – who produced Barbra Streisand’s A Star Is Born in 1976 and the 2018 Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga remake – actually used to date 30 years ago.

They rekindled their romance a few months ago but kept their new relationship out of the public eye. And although they kept things quiet before the wedding, the newly married couple is now very open about their feelings…

“Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way,” Jon Peters told The Hollywood Reporter about his new bride.

“There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much.

“There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela.

“She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.”

Pamela Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998. They share sons Brandon, 23, and Dylan, 22.

Jon Peters was previously married to actress Lesley Ann Warren and producer Christine Forsyth-Peters. And according to reports, he also had a 12-year romance with Barbra Streisand.

Jon Peters and Pamela Anderson reportedly began dating after they met at the Playboy mansion back in the 80s….

“I walked in and saw this little angel sitting at the bar. It was Pammy. She was like 19. I knew she would be a big star,” he told THR back in 2017.

“We ended up living together. Of course, Hugh Hefner loved her and saw her beauty. Pamela was a girl who with no makeup was gorgeous.”

He reportedly proposed to her 30 years ago, but she turned him down – largely due to the age difference. According to THR, he remembers telling Pamela that it wouldn’t seem so important in 30 years.

It’s no secret that Kourtney Kardashian has been unhappy with the demanding filming schedule for Keeping Up with the Kardashians for quite some time.

There have been public and private feuds with her sisters – and we assume production teams – about her lack of participation, as the eldest Kardashian sister has wanted less and less to do with the hit reality show in recent months.

“If everyone acted like you did, filming-wise, then we’d absolutely have no show,” Kim Kardashian angrily told sister Kourtney during Sunday night’s season finale.

And from what we saw on the latest episode, it’s looking like Kourtney might actually be leaving the show. Whether it’s for good or whether she just wants a well-deserved break is currently unclear…

“I have three kids that are my priority more than the show. Why do I have to say it 25 times? I’m not going to change my mind,” Kourtney told Kim.

“What I’m saying is I’m getting to the point where I’m not happy. Everyone has their breaking point. Life is short. It’s not all about filming this show.”

Despite initially being angry towards her sister, Kim Kardashian supported her decision…

“I think that she’s really torn on what she should do,” Kim said.

“Does she stay on the show, or does she get off and live a different life that she claims she’s wanted for so long?

“I hope that Kourtney finds clarity in whatever decision that she chooses to make. I just want her to feel like she’s at peace.”

Amber Rose has stunned everyone by revealing that she plans to go under the knife to have full-body liposuction, just six weeks after giving birth to her son, Slash Alexander Edwards.

The newborn is her first child with boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards. She has a 6-year-old son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, with ex Wiz Khalifa.

“So I’m here at Dr. Matlock’s office, and I’m about to get my whole body done after the baby,” the 36-year-old shared on an Instagram video while lying on a bed in a hospital gown.

“He’s gonna take out some of my jowls that are just hereditary,” she added, pointing to her jawline.

“It just runs in my family, so he’s gonna fix that and he’s gonna suck all the baby fat out of my stomach.”

We love how open she is about the surgery – something which she said not all of the doctor’s clients are…

“All of your favorite Girls and Guys go to him they just don’t tell you but I will,” she added.

“@dr.matlock he’s the best in the business!”
