The thing is, weddings are not coming to an end. What is happening is that people have to embrace our new reality. Trends usually develop from necessity. Now we have to consider doing weddings in a totally new way. So people now have to merge necessity with what is new. The new norm is hand sanitizing, washing hands, and social distancing. Not just in the US but all around the world. This new wedding trend has brought about a surge in the interests in wedding tents because of weddings being done outdoors. And with the tents also necessitates tinkly lighting in order to add some romantic ambiance to these special occasions.

For wedding decor 2021, people are leaning towards more fresh air as well as nature. Outdoor weddings have started and will keep stealing the show in 2021 as people move away from ballroom weddings. Mismatched seats

This is one of the wedding colors 2021 trends that has got no connection to the coronavirus pandemic. Asymmetry is becoming very fashionable. I am sure you have been to or have seen one wedding in a magazine where bridesmaids are wearing mismatched dresses. Suddenly when we talk about modern wedding decor, planners and wedding organizers seem to have pushed this craze to mismatched seating under those outdoor tents of theirs. Now, wedding tables and seats are no longer matchy-matchy. Mismatched seems to be the in-thing.

The other thing is there is some asymmetry to the whole wedding affair. Before, when you looked at the seating area, for instance, all chairs and tables were standardized. For instance, if they settled on square tables, all tables in the seating area would be square. Today, we are seeing more mismatched themes. The tables are mixed. So you would find some that can accommodate two people, other tables 6 people. Maybe they are a reflection of the times where for instance, a family coming to the wedding from the same household are can be lumped together. One thing for sure about these 2021 wedding trends is that they photograph spectacularly.

The toasts are diminishing too

As the wedding attendances shrink to more intimate sizes, one of the spring wedding trends that we will see is that the guests are also being very intimate. This means we expect to see guests at a wedding who have very close relations with the couples. Now even if a lot of people would get up and give their toasts, next year we are going to see tiny toasts where only close family members will be sharing memories of and about the couple.

Imagine how intimate and casuals the wedding speeches will be knowing that the people you are addressing share lots of common memories with you. The wedding parties will stop being so formal, with formal speeches and they will have a casual, dinner party feel. So no more need for guests to prepare and rehearse those speeches. Just keep them small, simple, and casual.

Cafe style entertainment

Seeing as weddings are now moving to more semi-formal and relaxed settings and environments, the entertainment also has to match this feel. Right now the entertainment and performances at weddings are going bistro or cafe-style.  Most wedding planners and magazines are expecting a surge in acoustic performances and more relaxed performances. You can also hire a DJ to play bistro songs.

Colors with a fresh flair

Wedding colors 2021 are leaning towards fresh color palettes and prints. The 90’s trend seems to be gaining popularity. We will see couples in 2021 incorporating fresh and nature-like hues in their wedding decor. We also expect bold, colorful, and unexpected colors as people dismiss the usual and expected whites and creams. The wedding decor is moving away from dull to fun, happy, and bright!

The outdoor lounge

With the 2021 wedding trends, we will be seeing couples taking the living room outdoors. What we will be seeing is couches, microfiber,  plush pillows, and throws being perfectly used outdoors. No much modification to the living room settings. They will look like they have been plucked straight from the living rooms and placed in an airy field. It’s all about making the outdoors be as comfortable as the indoors can be.

So ask your planners and coordinators to pick out comfortable chairs and lounge-seating furnishing offering comfort and warmth outdoors. If you opt for the lounge setting for your guests, then make sure that besides them being beautiful, they should also be plush enough to offer comfort because chances are your guests will be seated for longer.

If your new crush has a close relationship with the child or it so happens that he or she is the one living with the child at home, forget about getting 100% of their attention. Expect that child to always come before you.

However, being in relationship with someone who has a child doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be neglected. The plus side of this person putting the needs of the child first just shows how dependable and caring they are. So if you are not the needy, attention-seeking kind of person, then you shouldn’t have any problem with such dynamics of the relationship if or when they arise.

Kids require time and energy

So you have met this incredible person. You are even toying with the idea that you will love that kid like your own. Well, before you jump into that relationship, hear this…  Kids take a lot of energy. So if you are planning on dating someone with a kid you will be forced to make some sacrifices whenever the kid is involved. If the relationship is supposed to work, then be prepared to do the work and embrace that child as your own.  When dating people with kids you actually might find yourself having to be committed to both your partner and the family. Are you ready? Imagine dating a woman with 2 kids. Are you prepared to make sacrifices for them too? If the parenting gene isn’t in you, I foresee trouble.

Can you acknowledge and accept their routines and traditions?

As a person who doesn’t have kids of their own, dating someone with kids means that you need to realize that this person had a life before they met you. And this life revolved around the kid or kids. At some point, they probably were a family. And even if he or she is a single parent, that little family was accustomed to a particular way of doing things.

For instance, you can’t be the kind of boyfriend who expects the woman dating with children to sacrifice the son’s soccer game just to go partying with you. These are some of the sacrifices I was talking about. You need to be able to acknowledge and accept their routines. Unless the woman is a deadbeat mother, then expect that child always come before you.

The thing is if you start disrupting the lives of people dating with kids and then it so happens that the relationship with the kids goes sour, you will be blamed for it. Plus this is a one-way ticket to making the kids despise you. So if you are planning to have something long term with this single parent, then respect the traditions that you found this family practice. It might be hard but take your time and ease yourself into the equation politely

Is the kid ready for their parent’s new relationship?

When dating people with kids, this is something that needs to handled with care. Well, it will all depend on the type of kid involved. Some kids can be very angry when they meet the new man or woman. This is because they feel that their father or mother is being replaced.

R. Kelly’s request to be released from prison over Covid-19 concerns has officially been denied by a federal judge.

The 53-year-old disgraced R&B singer is currently held without bail in a federal prison in Chicago over several sex crime charges.

According to reports, his lawyers have described him as being in the ‘at risk’ category, due to having emergency hernia surgery back in January, which is why they have requested his release from the prison.

However, according to U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly of the Eastern District of New York, the singer is younger than the age group that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention deem to be in the high-risk category.

She also pointed out that, due to his history, he could be “a flight risk or a danger to the community” if released on bail…

“While I am sympathetic to the defendant’s understandable anxiety about Covid-19, he has not established compelling reasons warranting his release,” U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly said.

“At present, there are no confirmed cases of Covid-19 at the MCC in Chicago.

“The Bureau of Prisons has announced emergency measures to protect inmates and staff, including suspending all legal and social visits, suspending inmate facility transfers, making soap available to inmates, screening and testing inmates and staff, and modifying operations at detention facilities like the MCC to maximize social distancing.”

The singer must, therefore, remain in custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago, Illinois, until further notice.

He is currently awaiting two federal trials for child pornography and sexual assault charges in Chicago; and racketeering, transportation to engage in illegal sexual activity, and coercion of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity charges in New York.

The New York trial is currently scheduled for July, while the Chicago trial is scheduled for October.

R. Kelly is expected to plead ‘not guilty’ to all charges.

Yesterday, we brought you the wonderful news that Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee – who are currently expecting their first child together – had gotten engaged.

However, we were unaware of how Jenna’s ex-husband Channing Tatum took the news…

We assumed there would be no hard feelings, considering he is a) enjoying an on/off (but right now, very much on) relationship with British singer Jessie J. And b) the fact that he had nothing but kind words to say when Jenna told him that she was pregnant with her second child, way before making the announcement on social media.

(She and Channing are also proud parents to six-year-old daughter Everly, so will always be in each other’s lives.)

As expected Channing Tatum has handled the situation with grace and dignity. Although he has yet to address the engagement publically, insiders claim that he is “very happy” for his ex-wife…

“Channing is very happy for Jenna and Steve’s engagement. Channing has expressed that he is happy Jenna is in a good place and has moved on,” an insider told E! News.

“Jenna has a special place in Channing’s heart since she is the mother of their child, but they have both moved on and are happy in their new relationships.

“Channing’s main priority and concern is his daughter, and him and Jenna are both happy to have worked out a co-parenting agreement.”

We assume that Channing will extend his congratulations to the newly engaged couple in person, as they reportedly still see each other quite often for the sake of their daughter…

“They will be doing all kinds of family things together,” a separate source previously said about Channing and Jenna’s co-parenting routine.

“They want to keep her routine the same… Nothing is going to change in her life and she has two parents who will be very involved in everything she does.”

We hope the rest of Hollywood can learn something from Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan.

There’s no denying it, Billie Eilish is the woman of the moment. Some might even say, the Justin Bieber of 2020.

And that is why the 25-year-old Canadian superstar, who found fame at a very early age, has vowed to protect the 18-year-old Bad Guy singer from the industry, so she doesn’t go through what he went through while he was growing up in the public eye…

“I definitely feel protective of her,” Justin Bieber said in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

“It was hard for me, being that young and being in the industry and not knowing where to turn and everyone telling me they loved me, and just turning their back on you in a second.

“Yeah, it’s hard, because I want her to know that she can count on me. But at the end of the day I’m never going to force myself to be in a relationship with her, it has to be natural, right?

“So I just kind of let her do her thing and if she ever needs me, I’m gonna be here for her, but just protecting those moments because people take for granted encounters.”

He didn’t end there, as he began to tear up before adding that he doesn’t “want her to go through anything” that he went through at her age…

“I just wanna protect her, you know? I don’t want her to lose it. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody. So if she ever needs me, I’m just a call away.”

We like this look on him! And the sentiment didn’t go unnoticed, as Billie Eilish responded to his comments in the cutest way…

The singer – who has just become the youngest musician in history to record the James Bond theme song – shared a clip from the interview to her Instagram, with the caption, “stream changes”, to encourage her fans to listen to JB’s new record which was released on February 14.

And to top it all off, Justin replied to her comment with, “Love you !!!” while his wife Hailey Baldwin, now Hailey Bieber, responded with a heart emoji. Many other A-listers, from Jameela Jamil to Naomi Campbell, also reacted to the post with positive messages.

When Kim Kardashian isn’t walking red carpets, raising her four adorable children, and filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she is training hard to be a criminal justice lawyer. And she has also found time in her busy schedule to film a documentary about it!

Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project will air on April 5 on Oxygen, and will see the reality TV star turned law apprentice talking to prison inmates about what led to them landing themselves behind bars.

In the two-hour documentary, she also works alongside a team of legal experts on a number of cases in which they believe have resulted in the inmates being unfairly and wrongly sentenced.

“Once you hear the circumstances that led them to make those decisions, your heart would completely open up,” Kim Kardashian said in an interview with The AP.

“I hope that this is a step to opening up people’s hearts and minds. And then hopefully they can help with changing some actual laws that really do have to be changed.”

Kim unveiled the trailer on her Instagram, and we have to admit that it looks pretty interesting…

“There is a mass incarceration problem in the United States,” she says at the beginning of the trailer.

“I went into this knowing nothing, and then my heart completely opened up. People deserve a second chance.”

Kim has just completed the first year of her apprenticeship program and hopes to take the notoriously difficult bar exam in 2022.
