We love starting the week with sensational news stories, and we think the news that Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband don’t actually live together falls under that category.

Yes, you read that right, Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she and new husband (they married in September 2018, FYI) Brad Falchuk don’t actually live together full time.

According to an interview she gave The Sunday Times, he only spends four nights a week in her home, which Gwyneth revealed might actually be the key to a long and successful relationship…

“Falchuk, 48, spends three nights a week at his own house and four nights at Paltrow’s Los Angeles home, an arrangement approved by her intimacy teacher as a means of keeping the relationship fresh,” the Sunday Times article reads.

“Oh, all my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal and we shouldn’t change a thing,” she commented, referencing their somewhat unusual living situation.

We actually get where the Goop founder is coming from, as it sounds like she and her husband have the best of both worlds. They get their own personal space; plus absence makes the heart grow fonder and all…

Gwyneth Paltrow made no secret of the fact that she and Brad Falchuk wanted to keep both of their LA properties for the sake of their children, so this news shouldn’t surprise us as much as it initially did…

“We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly,” she told The Wall Street Journal back in 2018 about their decision to have separate homes in LA.

“It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing.”

Makes perfect sense to us.

What do you think of Gwyneth Paltrow’s unusual living arrangements? Will they be the new norm?
